The time is the recent past, the place, a remote valley in the American Southwest. this is where the legend began. It is part fact, part falsehood -- but perhaps the truth is more compelling than imagination. The man whom the legend has grown was named Homer Smith. It was late on a May morning when he first came across Mother Maria Marthe and the other Sisters; he decided to stop and help.......
The Theater should enterain, but the Theater also has a responsibility to raise the conscioius level of the participants and the audience. We the Cas and Crew have been truly inspired by this work by F. Andrew Leslie, which was portrayed by Sidney Poitier and others. We hope that you will be equally moved by our performance and your faith and trust in your fellowman will be reinforced, as has ours, as we worked through this production. Studio 406 depends upon this trust and the interchange between individuals, for it is the sharing of ideas and ideals that makes the Theater come alive. As we share our contribution each of us is a unique "Lily of the Field" in our journey through life.

Studio 406 is happy to announce an exciting season of theater for the coming year. Beginning May 1st there will be workshops on every alternate Wednesday, dealing with different aspects of theater, culminating in a production about September 1st, titled "From Greece to Broadway." Everyone is invited to participate.
Our shows during the regular theater season of 1985-86 will be Arsnic and Old Lace, Bus Stop, and Guys and Dolls (not necessarily in that order).
